Research Interests

I study inverse problems for partial differential equations, with an emphasis on scattering theory and wave phenomena, motivated by questions in imaging and detection.

Thesis Focus

My thesis work investigates direct and inverse scattering problems for thin elastic plates, modeled by a biharmonic wave equation. The goal is to develop efficient, rigorous algorithms for detecting defects, extending qualitative reconstruction methods from acoustics and electromagnetics to elastic materials.
