Research Interests

I am interested in inverse problems arising from partial differential equations, with a focus on scattering theory, wave propagation, and nondestructive testing of thin elastic plates. Applications include structural health monitoring and elastic cloaking.

Thesis Focus

My thesis work investigates direct and inverse scattering problems for thin elastic plates, modeled by a biharmonic wave equation. The goal is to develop efficient, rigorous algorithms for detecting defects, extending qualitative reconstruction methods from acoustics and electromagnetics to elastic materials.
